The SB-404 Ovangkol Neck-through 5-String Electric Bass Guitar is an answer to the professional player's prayers. The Ovangkol body and maple/nato 5-ply neck provide beauty, while the BDS-5 pickups bring out a deep, punchy sound that works in every genre of music. The bass has a stained-natural finish with black hardware. The body is made of ovangkol, with a maple and nato 5-ply neck-thru-body design. The rosewood fingerboard features 24 frets and a classic treble-side cutaway for upper register bass notes. The electronics consist of two BDS-5 pickups. Add that to a rich rosewood fingerboard and you've got the perfect recipe for deep, powerful sustain. The fingerboard inlays feature the original eye design that appeared on the Aria basses of old.
