The A5 is equipped with an under-saddle ribbon transducer and preamp by L.R.Baggs, and a 13-pin output jack, allowing the player to connect to a multitude of 13-pin devices and computers via MIDI.The A5 also produces superb acoustic bass sounds from an instrument that is only slightly larger than a standard solid body bass and much lighter. The 2-chambered body design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration.
