The Sennheiser AB 3 is an antenna amplifier for the Sennheiser Evolution wireless G3 series. It's similar to the older AB 2, but has a bandwidth of 42 MHz instead of the old 36 MHz. Bandwidth, when talking about AB boosters, refers to the built-in filters in the unit. The AB 3 antenna head amplifier boosts the signal from a remotely mounted antenna that would have a long cable run, typically 50' longer.
